Materials & process
The studio moves between ceramic disciplines and mixed media grounds, always with an eye toward tactility and architectural presence. Processes are iterative: tests are kept, labeled, and revisited until a surface feels both new and inevitable.
01
Forms begin as sketches and small maquettes. Slab, coil, and wheel processes are chosen for the edge quality each piece demands.
02
Slips, oxides, and glazes are layered to create depth. Brushwork is left visible; bubbles and controlled irregularities become part of the composition.
03
Temperature curves are treated like a palette: matte against gloss, raw against sealed. Final edits happen slowly, with daylight.
